Digital Trade Marcom Specialist (maternity cover)

To cover for a maternity absence in our Operational Marketing team for Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH), we are currently looking for a Digital Trade Marcom specialist, based in Frechen- Königsdorf.
As Digital Trade specialist you are responsible for developing local campaigns and activities to support our eCommerce and Click and mortar retailers in close cooperation with our Sales Team and Trade marketing specialist. Within this, you not only create blue prints for branded webshops, digital promotions, materials and content for our customer’s digital channels (websites/ shops, newsletters & social media), but also implements these in collaboration with Sales in order to support the best possible presentation of our brands as well as the sellout of our products in above channels. You work closely with the other local team members and also with the central marketing team in Netherlands. You will report to the Marketing Manager DACH.
Retail Online Content Creation: have a thorough understanding of what is required by retailers and create the right content & campaign tools as well as a full online brand experience where needed ( i. e. shop in shop online). Roll out implementation in accordance with the Sales team and as part of 360° campaigns within our local Marketing activities.
Social Media & Newsletter Content Creation for Retailers: in conjunction with our digital specialist B2C, you develop and deliver social media content and Facebook promotions for our customers. Furthermore, you create content for our retailers newsletter in accordance to the local Sales and Marketing activities. Ensure the correct implementation by customers and evaluates results which leads to adapting the strategy if required to optimize the results.
Provide Online Campaigns & expert content activation: Support our retailers with the right content for their own online campaigns (Promos, SEA etc.). Implements online tools (Car fitting list, product advisory tools) that support sellout but also our expert image to drive online Sales and digital Consumer experience further. Supporting Ecommerce team and click and mortar retailers with conversion optimization ideas
Support implementation of owned eCommerce and Online Services: create & implement the required content for Trade related services on our own estates (content validation of spare part shop and future direct to consumer websites) as well as implementation of lead generation tools (HATCH) and guidance of onboarding process in close collaboration with Sales Teams
Setting the basics right: Detec gaps and needs, try to close them by producing and adapting content (visuals, add new products, enrichment of existing products) for eCommerce activities. Support the Marketing team with producing and coordinating other related digital content where needed. Responsible for ongoing optimization of content and cooperation processes for Ecommerce Channels as well as retailer websites
You are eager, full of energy and open to new ideas to support growing the business and are not afraid to jump in new projects, because you are self-organized and are resilient.
But before we invite you here, we’d like to check a couple of things.
- Preferable a Bachelor or Master’s degree in (digital) marketing communications.
- Thorough understanding of digital environment, eCommerce landscape and retail needs; 3 years working experience
- ability to brief, create and evaluate content to ensure it has the desired impact and is in line with the brand values,
- understanding of content requirements for retail, e-commerce, social media and service to support these areas of the business and ability to serve those needs
- Experience in adapting existing content, content creation and in copy writing for digital purposes
- Advanced skills in SEO (content related, not regarding technical requirements)
- Basic or advanced skills in Google Analytics: analyze data and trends, deduct gaps and opportunities, create materials or advise accordingly
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German (English: Full business proficiency is a must in international company, French is a pre)
- Basic design skills (Photoshop or InDesign) are a pre, but not a must
