Your missionDorel Juvenile US is looking for a Financial Analyst to join our team at our Design and Development Center in Foxboro, MA. In this position you will work closely to provide financial support across all product development teams and categories.
Key responsibilitiesWork closely with the Product Development and Sales team to provide financial input and analysis. Analyze profitability of product lines across all categories in development and support product line profit planning. Build quarterly Customer and Product Line Profitability reporting. Reconcile end-of-month expense reporting with cost center managers. Responsible for new product development cost tracking, including timing capture. Project spending & amortization reporting. Take initiative to develop new analyses. New perspectives on analyzing data, driving sales and reducing costs are encouraged. Develop, prepare, analyze and distribute monthly reporting of actual results versus plan and prior year. Work with Sales and Development teams to build annual budgets for Executive review.
Your profileBachelor’s degree in Business Administration along with a minimum of 4+ years of experience in accounting or a related function (preferably in consumer goods). Must be strong in Excel and familiarity with Access or a similar database system preferred. The right individual must have strong problem solving skills and should have an enthusiasm to learn, seek new challenges, and have no expectations of a “typical” day. Must be a strong team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to work with all levels of the organization.
